Hi. I’m Stephanie and am so thankful you are taking a few minutes to have a look around and see where my passion has come to life. I am a Seattle, WA based portrait photographer specializing in Maternity and Newborn Photography. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey.
I am married to a great guy and a mom to four awesome kids; three boys and a little girl. Being a mom is the best thing I have ever done. Nothing is more important to me than my faith and my family. I love photography! Being able to capture these specials moments and remember them through pictures is so important as these days go by so fast. After my daughter was born in 2013, I knew that it was time to pursue my passion of being a photographer and started putting my dream into action. It was the best professional decision I have ever made.
Photographing newborns and children is really amazing. But with it comes a level of responsibility that I do not take lightly. Safety is of utmost importance to me while you are here in the studio and after. I have devoted countless hours to my education and training.
Some of the training many training courses I have completed is as follows: Baby Safety & Posing for Newborn Photographers, Newborn Photography Bootcamp, Pregnancy and Newborn Photography, Newborn Posing, 2016 Newborn Retreat, 2016 Maternity Retreat
I have also been a speaker on Photography at the 2016 Women’s Inspired Conference at Eastridge Church.
My consultation and education with a registered newborn physiotherapist has been invaluable to me. These skills help aid in posing to keep baby healthy and safe at all times. The cutest portrait in the world is not worth it if baby is not safe. My client’s safety will always come before an image.
Currently, I am a member of The Motherhood Society (formerly The Bump Society) with Beauty & Lifestyle Mommy Magazine and NewbornPhotography.com. I am also fully licensed and insured within the state of Washington.
I currently live in Sammamish, WA where I shoot out of my in-home studio. We are located 30 minutes east of downtown Seattle. I do have some places around town that I love to shoot as well, as long as the weather cooperates.
